Sponsorship Is...

Sponsorship was one of the methods employed by Die2Nite for advertising (Die2Nite was the ancestor of MyHordes). MyHordes keeps the sponsorship system where, still, it is an advertisement method. click here to access the sponsorship page

Reward for the sponsor

Players that effectively recruit new players will not get an immediate reward. To the exception at some extent to be able to view all their sponsored players at a glance in a dedicated page.

Once a sponsored player spends 40 experience points, they will themselves receive a 10 experience point award.

Bonuses

• "You can keep in touch with your friends easily by inviting them to join your coalition from this very page."
• "Your nose hair will grow so long you can stand on it and strum it like a harp."

Additional Note

If you did not pick a Sponsor when you set up an account, you are not allowed to add one afterward. It must be done during the account creation, or the chance is lost, and you'll have to delete, and re-make your account to add a sponsor.
