This compass is a great thing. It only points rather inaccurately to the north, but for some unknown reason it starts to vibrate loudly when zombies are nearby. And they somehow don't like the sound.

Cause

• By being elected when the Observation platform is built or the previous guide Died.

Effect

• Gives the ability to Escort, regardless of being a Hero or not.
• +1 Control Point for every Citizen in the zone, including themselves (means even +1 when alone).
• In Explorable Ruins there is a visual indicator (a short flashing at certain points?) for unknown reasons, maybe near doors or zombies (under investigation).

Removal

• Not removable.
