Change of zed attack formula? My town @ day15 had only 8 citizens staying in, attack estimate is greatly larger than town def. However we are still getting 190 zombies attack citizens. The question is if this equation works with town less than 10 people?

There's a screenshot provided... I think it actually is a miracle. XD --Mespia 18:49, 11 August 2011 (PDT)

I plan to do a rewrite of this page. Just some stuff I want to say first. I've seen "miracles" happen a ton of times in random towns, the message comes up whenever a) zombies manage to break in && b) no citizens were killed. I've also seen other messages appear, like this "Only one citizen was killed, a stroke of luck say some citizens..."(?). I'm afraid I don't have a screenshot, so that message is from memory, but it comes up when zombies manage to break in && only 1 citizen was killed. i.e., Day 2 log:
Only one citizen was killed, a stroke of luck say some citizens...
xxx was killed by 1 zombie!
1 zombie managed to make it into town!
Oh, and do we want to include [1] as the attack? Info seems to be correct. ChooJeremy 21:30, 4 September 2011 (PDT)

what does this mean: "Their numbers either steadily increase each day, but will randomly 'spike' up to hope-crushing height"

Question about this: "The attack is easily calculated: Horde Numbers - Defence Numbers = Undead who make it inside. Any zombies who make it into the town are randomly divided between the members of the town. Resisting these zombies is the duty of the defense rating of your house; 1 point of home defense = 1 zombie turned away."

Does this mean, (for example), that if there are 50 zombies attacking, and 40 defense, then 10 get in. If there are 30 people, then each zombie will be randomly assigned to one person?

Lazy zombies: Previous info disproven. My town had lazy zombies with 18 survivors.

Have a look at [2]. Discordance 21:29, 30 March 2011 (PDT)

Attack RecordEdit

Gates Open/Closed Zombies Breaking Through Number of Lazy Zombies

EstimatedAttack LevelsEdit

Is it worth giving an estimated list of expected zombie numbers? Or do the new "Spiking" attacks make this irrelevant? --Rosslessness 07:52, 18 October 2011 (PDT)
