Originally from [1] Used for marking in game images as copyright of motion twin, sorting into categories, sourcing images etc

• filename= is the original filename only to be used if there is a filename conflict (unlikely) or for capitalised image names (very rare see Category:Death images)
• directory= parameter if included is an alternate directory in the die2nite gfx directory, not often used see and Category:Banner images
• category= parameter is used to sort the image into an appropriate subcategory

File name and path check

It is important after you have placed the template that you test if the file name and path are correct so click the external link in the template to go to the version of the image at die2nite.com. If the image gives a 404 error something is wrong and you need to adjust either the filename or directory. If the image loads correctly, everything is fine and you can finish editing.
