Talk:Terrorised

Here's an example of terrorised speech. (dots ... are places in a few random spots with terror filled quotes and some words are switched completely)

"We've got 17 people ..they are everywhere...and 10 of us are terrorized. (me included) that means our speech is impeded on the forums (this post is an example)

As soon as we enter a tree with ANY zombies and we'll be completely stuck.

We've got a chance when moving from a square for NOTHING to happen, though we still use AP

We can't use weapons. Or any items from inventory.

Basically, we're screwed. We could wait out another day in the town, but i doubt we'll make it horrible day.

Cyanide anyone?"

A Frightful Night![edit]

I got this message when 3 zombies made it into the town. I was not terrorised before the attack, and didn't end up terrorised after. Only 3 zombies made it into town, and I had a tent. I'm not sure why I got this message, as I wasn't terrorised. --Mazt 07:51, 24 September 2011 (PDT)

I once got attacked by a mob of zombies, and got the frightful night message. I think the frightful night message doesn't get you a terrorised status. --Miss B 19:59, 27 November 2011 (PST)
I also just got the same message after a few zombies made it past the gates but (I think) none attacked me...in case for later needs, I'm going to quote the "A frightful night!" message here: "You were really sweating last night! You heard them groaning, banging around and yelling outside. Eventually your door gave way and you took refuge under your bed, clutching your remaining possessions, trying not to think about the situation. Then they left... Shaking with fear you eventually came out of your hiding place, grateful that you survived." --Nickyh 18:15, 29 December 2011 (PST)

Can terrorized people still pick up or drop items? I'm just curious.--Julia 18:35, 12 December 2011 (PST)

Valium[edit]

Someone said they could in fact use a valium in the World Beyond, but previous knowledge suggests otherwise. Removed it from the page for now, can someone confirm this? Mazt 06:01, 5 February 2012 (PST)

I'm a bit confused: what is the question here? I always thought the valium shot was precisely for curing "terrorised"? If not, what is the drug used for?

Sorry, missed some key information. :P It said 'use a valium,' when in fact I meant 'use a valium in the World Beyond.' If it did, this would be an exception to the fact that when terrorised, you can't use any items in the World Beyond. Fixed for clarity. Mazt 03:02, 23 January 2012 (PST)
IF I survive this night, tomorrow I can walk outside like an idiot into a bunch of zombies and try out my valium shot. I'll report the result within 24 hours: I will either die tonight form an attack, successfully cure my terrorism, or fail and teleport back to the town via watchtower...
Just tested it myself, it works. Removing the todo. Mazt 06:01, 5 February 2012 (PST)
Same here! Yay survived another night...--Nickyh 14:36, 5 February 2012 (PST)

Vibrator in the World Beyond[edit]

Maybe the same question as with the valium. But I'm confused by this line in the wiki page: "You cannot eat or drink, or otherwise use anything from your inventory."

What is meant by "inventory"? Does that include your "rucksack"? your "chest"?

I just joined a terrorized citizen in a zone and dropped a vibrator and battery on the ground. He/she isn't currently on so I can't test it at the moment, but I'm wondering if there will be any problems to pick it up and use it to remove the terrorized status.

Can "inventory" be clarified please?
