Actually, that wouldn't even be necessary, there are enough other ways to get infected here. But sometimes the end justifies the means.

Found

• By Heroes with unlocked and activated Reclusive Skill Sweet Revenge at Expert level (R3) if Shunned on day 3 or later.
  • The Toxin will spawn in the Inventory together with 2 Vials of Poison.
• By Combining:

• Bloody Dressing with     
  
• The Bloody Dressing can only be found in Private Towns.

Uses

• For poisoning certain food, water or drugs.
  • The Citizen consuming a Toxin-poisoned item will become Infected (and eventually Die if left untreated).
• The following items can be poisoned:
  • Anabolic Steroids → Anabolic Steroids (infected)
  • Fleshroom Puree → Fleshroom Puree (infected)
  • Open Can → Open Can (infected)
  • Suspicious-looking Vegetable → Suspicious-looking Vegetable (infected)
  • Water Ration → Water Ration (infected)
  • Note that ingame the items appear identical to the unpoisoned original, the altered name and image are to distinguish the items on the wiki only.

Notes

• This item is similar to Vial of Poison, but the infected items do not kill players immediately, and the death is recorded as "Death by Infection" (instead of "Murder!"). This allows murder in a more subtle manner.
  • The delayed and uncertain death will give victims a chance to call out on the criminal, however.
