The hacksaw is extremely useful since it allows more materials to be produced at the Workshop with less 
expended. It is generally found broken and must be repaired before it can be used.

Uses[edit]
- The hacksaw reduces the number of needed for any task at the Workshop by 1 point. This effect can be stacked with others, like the Factory's effect of allowing production to cost 1 less. The saw must be carried in your backpack for this to take effect.
- Some cities prefer to keep it in the
The Bank so multiple citizens can take turns using it to produce items at the Workshop. - Opening a
Can, 
Personal Chest, 
Large Metal Chest, 
Toolbox or 
Schrödinger's Box. - The Hacksaw does not open the
Food Parcel.
Notes[edit]
- It is probably the most important item in the whole game. Towns that don't find one in their early days won't probably last long, plenty of drama sparks whenever a citizen forgets to give it back to the Bank, and it's the favorite stealing target for griefers.
