Rankings

From MHWiki

Revised for Season 18

The game is split up into Seasons, of approximately 6 months each.

During this time, towns are ranked according certain ranking rules and a score which reflects their capacity to survive as a group.

The rankings can be checked under the MySoul menu current Season menu. Rankings of past Seasons can be checked on the same menu as the current season rankings. You just have to select the season you want.

Score calculation[edit]

The final score is calculated by adding together the total number of days survived in the Town by all the Citizens and then adding the extra points from purifying souls (;) using the Soul Purifying Source.

Each soul (;) purified after Upgrading the Soul Purifying Source to level 3 adds 2 ranking points to the town's Ranking.

End of the season[edit]

  • Distribution of Rewards:
    • Citizens that participated in a town that made it into the rankings receive a distinction ( or or ) for each town present in the rankings.
    • Community contributions awards are distributed.
  • Rankings reset:
    • The Town rankings will reset.
    • Regular distinctions rankings will reset (You still can see the rankings of past seasons)

Rankings rules[edit]

  • Only Distant Towns and Hardcore Towns are ranked. Small maps or towns created for special events will not feature in the season's rankings.
  • A Town in a Season must be destroyed in that Season to be counted in the Rankings. If it lasts into the next Season, it will not be counted in either ranking.
  • The rankings are updated at midnight.
  • Only towns which are completely destroyed (no survivors) will receive a ranking.

My Soul[edit]

Soul points and titles aren't reset to zero at the end of the season, there are no bonuses awarded. Any titles or other statistics will still be displayed on your Soul page.
