Broken items are clearly marked by a red dashed border surrounding the item and the Broken... marker in their description.
Breaking[edit]
Only certain items can break and for 2 reasons:
- Using them as Weapons against Zombies in the World Beyond
- Breaking chance depends on the item
- Using them as Guard Weapons on Watch
- Always broken after The Attack
Repairing[edit]
Broken items can be repaired:
- By using a Kwik-Fix, the repair costs 1
- The Kwik-Fix will disappear after the repair.
- By using a Repair Kit, the repair costs 1
- The kit will turn into a Repair Kit (damaged) after the repair, but can be converted back to a Repair Kit in the Workshop (costs ).
- By a Technician, the repair costs 3
