Defence items can be placed in {{MetaInline|The Bank}} to add to the Town's defence points. Each item will add 2 defence points to the Town's total; this figure can be increased by [[Buildings|constructing]] and [[Town Upgrades|upgrading]] {{MetaInline|Defensive Focus}}.

** The value can be increased up to 3 {{DP}} per item by {{MetaInline|Construction Sites|displayname=Constructing}} and {{MetaInline|Building upgrades|displayname=Upgrading}} the {{MetaInline|Defensive Focus}}
* Defence items can also be placed in a {{MetaInline|Citizens|displayname=Citizen's}} {{MetaInline|Personal Chest}} at {{MetaInline|Home}}
** In that case they increase the personal {{MetaInline|Home defence}} by 1 per item.
** This also increases the {{MetaInline|Town|displayname=Town's}} total {{MetaInline|Defence}}, but only by 0.4 {{DP}} per item (0.8 {{DP}} with {{MetaInline|Community Involvement}})
* Defence items can also be used for other purposes:
