Various abbreviations used on Die2Nite.

AC - Architect's Chest

AoN - All or Nothing

AP - Action Points

AS - Autosearch / Autoscavenge, Architect's Study, or Anabolic Steroids

Beam - Patchwork Beam

BED - Broken Electronic Device

BIA/BiA - Brothers in Arms, a hero skill

BP - Blueprint

BRD - either Pocket Vibrator or Giant BRD.

Cata - Catapult

Coa / Coal - Coalition

CP - usually Control Points but can mean Construction Points to a tech.

D2N - Die2Nite

DD - Distant Discoveries

DE - Distant Expeditions, alternative name of Distant Discoveries

Dev / Deva - Devastator

DO - Defense/Defensive Object. See Defence.

DTD / D2D - (From) Dusk Till Dawn, an external map

DV - Die Verdammten, the German version of Die2Nite

EC - Electronic component

ED - Early Death

EE - Expert Expeditions, Could also refer to Exact Estimate, which is the idea that the estimate can be calculated based on the min and the max (and drawing lines).

EM - External map

EWB - Exploding Water Bomb

FDTD - From Dusk Till Dawn, an external map

FPF - Flatpacked Furniture

Full escort - Escort mode with "Don't allow my escort to take me further away from the town" unchecked and "Allow the objects in my rucksack to be viewed and used" checked.

HC - Hardcore

Hordes - the French version of Die2Nite

HR/Hr - Heroic Return/Heroic Rescue, respectively. Though this can be confused sometimes. Use your best judgement.

Iron - Wrought Iron

Jerry - Full Jerrycan

JT - Järpen Table

LC Large Metal Chest

LMS - Last Man Standing

Logs - Usually means Rotting Log, but may be used to mean Quality Log. Use your best judgment.

Meta - a group of 8 coalitions (40 coalition members) organize themselves to join together in the same town. It is not a in-game feature. People just get together outside of the game, using external chats to organize this play.

MB - Manbag

MJ - Meta jump, the process of one coalition of the meta joining together in the same town.. See Meta.

MHJ - Mega Hardcore Jump, the whole process of all coalitions joining together in the same hardcore town. See Meta for meta jump. See town for hardcore town.

Mk2 - Battery Launcher Mk. II (loaded)

MMJ - Mega Meta Jump, the whole process of all coalitions joining together in the same town. See Meta.

MT - MotionTwin (the developer of Die2Nite)

N&B / NB - Handful of nuts and bolts

OO - Oval Office (external tool)

OP - Used on the forums. It means "original post(er)" (the first post(er) in the thread), or "overpowered".

OPS - Old Police Station, a ruin

OWM - Old Washing Machine

Para - Paracetoid 7g

Perm - Any building or item that provides permanent defense for the town, for example: Great Pit, Screaming Saws or Mattress

Pharmas - Pharmaceutical Products

PP - Pharmaceutical Products

Roid - Anabolic Steroids

PSC - Psychadelic Spiritual Counsel

SAC - Sealed Architect's Chest

Scav - Scavenger

Scrap(s)/Scraping - Scrap Metal (Can also be more general and mean both Scrap Metal and Rotting Log; as in "I'm going out 1 AP to collect scraps.")

SP - Soul Points

Study - Architect's Study

Surv - Survivalist

Temp - Any building or item that provides temporary defense, for example: Bomb Factory, Rubbish Heap or Torch

Twin - Twinoid 500mg

UCB - Unshaped Concrete Blocks

WB - Water Bomb, or less common The World Beyond

WF - World Forums

WLB - Worn Leather Bag

WPT - Water Purifying Tablets

WS - Workshop

WT - Watchtower

WT Range - Usually means either a) Watchtower teleport range, i.e. 2 km from town, or b) Watchtower visibility range, 10 km from town.
