Easter is the time of forgiveness. That's why people aren't hanged now, but tortured to death with the smell of chocolate.

Construction

• The Chocolate Cross is a substitute for the Gallows during the Easter event and can only be built at that time.
• Requirements for the Construction:

• The Workshop must have been completed.
• The following resources must be in The Bank and will be used up after completion:

•   1×  Patchwork Beam
•   1×  Rusty Chain

• Citizens must spend 13 to complete the building.

• The costs can be reduced to 12 / 11 / 11 / 10 / 8 by Upgrading the Workshop.

Effects

• The first Citizen who receives 8 complaints (4 complaints with People’s Court) will be immediately Killed and obtains the Crucifixion Distinction.
  • The cross will be destroyed after usage but can be rebuilt.
  • Crucifying a citizen in Town returns their items in Rucksack to The Bank.
  • Crucifying a citizen in the World Beyond will cause their items in Rucksack to be dropped in their current zone.

Notes

• A Shunned citizen requires a further 8 complaints to be crucified, although the original complaints can be resubmitted.
• Any unshunned citizens who reach 8 complaints whilst the cross is present will be immediately crucified without being shunned.
• The presence of a Meat Locker renders the Chocolate Cross useless, as the latter's effect will be overridden by the former.
