Some citizens are complaining that the dark is making it too hard for them to scavenge properly, and that their time would be better spent in bed. These public lights will make sure they have no more excuse to do their job. As long as we have the batteries for it, of course...
Use[edit]
- Building it cancels the Night Time (19:00-7:00) penalty on Scavenging in the World Beyond for a given range.
- Upgrading it via the Building upgrades increases the range of the effect.

Base | Cancels the Night Time penalty in a radius of 2km around the town. |
Level 1 | Cancels the Night Time penalty in a radius of 6km around the town. 1 Battery is consumed each day. |
Level 2 | Cancels the Night Time penalty on the whole map. 2 Batteries are consumed each day. |
Level 3 | Additionally increases findings probability at Night Time. 3 Batteries are consumed each day. |

If there are not enough Batteries in Bank, only the base effect will take place.

- Public lights were added in MyHordes Alpha. It did not exist in Die2nite or any other original version of the game.
- In Season 16:
