*Whirr* *Clink* *Clank* ": These are the sounds of the Portal Lock. Invented to keep idiots from drunkenly walking out and inadvertently killing everyone, this complex chunk of metal stops the gates from opening! Guaranteed to keep the zombies out as you sleep safe and snug in your hovels.

Notes[edit]
- Building the Portal Lock is sometimes frowned upon by citizens as a waste of materials, especially in the first two or three days. However it is handy against idiots and griefers, but make sure that everyone gets inside before you close the gate, since you can't open the gates for them after 23:40 game time.
