Because more water is always needed, it's usually a good idea to upgrade that pump so it will automatically drill deeper day and night for more water.

First:

• The Eden Project must have been unlocked with a blueprint:

• Construction Blueprint (uncommon)
• Hospital Construction Blueprint (uncommon)

Then:

• The Mechanical Pump must have been unlocked with a blueprint:

• Construction Blueprint (rare)

• The Eden Project must have been completed.
• The following resources must be in The Bank and will be used up after completion:

•   5×  Twisted Plank
• 10×  Patchwork Beam
• 15×  Metal Support
•   1×  Copper Pipe

• Citizens must spend 86 to complete the building.

• The costs can be reduced to 81 / 76 / 71 / 65 / 56 by Upgrading the Workshop.

Effects

• Completing the Mechanical Pump adds 75  Water to The Well.
